Radiant NextGen Digital HPS Systems

Introducing the Radiant Grow Light System from HydroFarm. The Radiant system provides a more consistent spread of intense light and three times the air cooling capacity than previous models. Radiant reflectors are made with a rugged, pre-galvanized steel housing, full specular aluminum interior, and a patent-pending completely double walled design that runs up to 75% cooler than other hoods.
Radiants can accommodate all types and sizes of horizontal bulbs. The Radiant is Air Cooled ready, just slide in the optional glass lens and attach the vent adaptors and a fan.
The C.A.P. NextGen Electronic Ballast is the smallest, lightest, most user friendly ballast on the market today. This ballast produces 30% more light than a standard core and coil ballast and has universal lamp receptacles, capable of attaching ALL OF today’s most popular reflectors. Its ability to run bulbs up to 65’ from the ballast, makes the NextGen a must for serious gardeners.
Comes with 120 volt power cord, 240 volt power cord available separately.
High Pressure Sodium (HPS) Lamps have initial lumens between 120,000-140,000 lumens and deteriorate slower than metal halide lamps. They are dominant in the red-yellow spectrum and possess minimal amounts of the blue-green spectrum. The 600 watt HPS lamp has the best lumen-watt ratio, making it the most efficient to run.
