Daystar Phantom Digital MH Systems

The Daystar is Hydrofarm's 6th Generation flagship reflector. It offers a higher efficiency and better reflective pattern than anything else available. Packed with numerous features including a double wall cooling construction, this reflector is cool running, compact and lightweight for the ultimate in convenience.

Hydrofarm's Phantom Digital Ballast arrives on the market as the most rigorously tested ballast in the industry.  The Phantom features silent operation, lightweight design, multiple placement options and the maximum lumen output around.  The Phantom has dual resettable breakers which protects the lamp as well as household circuits. All ballasts come with a universal reflector adaptor and 8 ft heavy duty 120 volt power cord included(240 volt power cord sold separately).

The 600 and 1000 watt models come with a "dimmable" feature. This features a button that will drop the bulb down to 60% or 75% power after running at 100% for 10 minutes to get the lights heated properly.

Metal Halide grow light systems emit mostly blue light. Plants use blue light for vegetative leaf growth and it prevents plants from stretching and elongating. Halides offer very little red light and do not fruit or flower plants effectively.
